ESPN is in on-going discussions with LeBron James’ people to setup an hour long special to announce the team he will be signing with. The special will be scheduled for Thursday at 9 p.m. ET if both sides come to an agreement.

Sponsorship is asked to be sold by James’ representatives during the special with proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. No venue has been named as of yet.
